 About the Photgrapher
For the past four decades Phil Bell has worked as a professional photographer in Billings, Montana. His career is as diverse as it is extensive. Starting with a four year stint as a photojournalist with the Billings Gazette Phil went on to own a portrait studio for eighteen years where he compiled an impressive list of awards and honors for his photography and service to the profession. The most notable of which are the PP of A's "Master of Photography" and the M.P.PA's "Photographer of the Year" five times with an accumulation of over thirty first place awards for his photography. He has taught, lectured and judged photography on the regional and national levels.
Staying on the cutting edge of technology has been an exciting and motivating challenge for Phil especially in the digital age. Phil is currently a free-lance commercial photographer working with many local companies to produce marketing materials and images for their advertising. Phil's passion for photography is never ending and he is continually adding to his collection of fine-art photography.
